News & Announcements

We are so thrilled at SpArc Philadelphia to have great recent media coverage of our work, including from FYI Philly on 6ABC and Al Dia News.

Allocated funds for SpArc Philadelphia will be used to demolish a warehouse adjacent to the SpArc building in North Philadelphia, with plans to turn the area into a green space for outdoor programming and connection to the community.

This month, we are highlighting the success of Hakimah, a participant in the SpArc Services employment program. After working with the staff at SpArc Services to prepare for a job and overcome barriers to employment, Hakimah is now gainfully employed in a local grocery store.

The Arc of Philadelphia is proud to be working with a team of medical students from Drexel University College of Medicine Class of 2024, including Samhita Nanduri, Nathan Sablowski, Alessandra Rigamonti, Sreya Muchivolu and Kimberly Vu, who created posters for presentation at the Annual Conference of the Society of Student Run Free Clinics (SSRFC) in Mobile, Alabama.
